Terms & Conditions

1. BOOKINGS AND RESERVATIONS

– or telephone us on +91 9986450370. Full payment has to be made before the start of the tour for booking confirmation.

2. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Exotic Expeditions must receive notification of cancellation in writing. At the time we receive your written cancellation,
refunds based on the total fare are as follows:

Cancellation more than 60 days prior to departure = 50% refund on full trip cost
Cancellation 45 days prior to departure = 25% refund on full trip cost
Cancellation less than 30 days prior to departure = no refund

NOTE: DURING PEAK SEASON CANCELLATION ARE REFUND POLICIES SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND WILL
DEPEND ON THE REFUND POLICIES OF THE HOTELS / RESORTS / HOMESTAYS WE HAVE BOOKED.

3. PERSONAL INFORMATION, ILLNESS AND DISABILITY
Participation in our expeditions requires that you be in generally good health and it is essential that participants with
any medical problems, illness, disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition make them
known to us well before departure. Such participants must make arrangements for the provision of any medication
or other treatment which may be required during the holiday. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these booking conditions and result in such persons being excluded from the holiday. We have the right to disqualify any participant at any time during the trip if we feel the participant is physically incapable and/or if a participant’s continued participation will jeopardize either the individual involved, or the group. There will be no refund given under these circumstances. All information provided to us will be treated as confidential and will not be revealed to others.

4. VEHICLE COSTS AND SURCHARGES
Vehicle charges are subject to change with exceptional increase in fuel costs. Government Entry Tax, Vehicle Tax and other taxes at state border crossings will have to be paid by the participants if there has been an increase in fuel or taxes from the time of booking the trip to date of travel.

5. ITINERARY CHANGES & TRIP DELAY
Itineraries are based on information available at the time of planning and are subject to change. Exotic Expeditions
reserves the right to change expedition dates, people or itineraries as conditions warrant. If a trip must be delayed
or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, airline
schedules, sickness, or other contingency for which Exotic Expeditions or its agents cannot make provision, the cost
of delays and/or other changes are the responsibility of the participant.

6. ITINERARY CANCELLATION AND REFUND FOR CANCELLATION BY EXOTIC EXPEDITIONS
Exotic Expeditions reserves the right to cancel an itinerary before departure for any reason whatsoever, including too few participants or logistical problems such as strikes, wars, acts of God, or any other circumstances that may make operation of the trip inadvisable.
Exotic Expeditions will make full refund of the trip cost. However, no refund will be made for cost incurred by participant for preparing for trip (airfare and other expenses)

7. PARTICIPATION RIGHTS
Exotic Expeditions reserves the right to decline, or accept, any individual as a trip member for any reason whatsoever.

8. ADVENTURE HOLIDAYS
Exotic Expeditions conducts various kinds of holidays including Adventure Trips, Camps and Tours and your booking for such holidays are accepted on the understanding that you realise the hazards involved in this kind of holiday,including injury, disease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience and discomfort. Adventure trips are many time difficult to run as per the itinerary due to various logistic and nature problems and therefore the itinerary should be taken as a indication of the general outline of the trip and not as a contractual obligation on the part of the company.
Changes in itinerary may be caused by local political conditions, flight cancellations, vehicle problems, weather, border restrictions, sickness, or other unforeseeable circumstances. Exotic Expeditions expects its participants to understand these problems and have flexibility, and acknowledge that delays and alterations and their results, such as inconvenience, discomfort, or disappointment, are possible. When changes in an itinerary are required we will always endeavor to provide suitable alternative arrangements which may involve additional expense. Where you choose not to partake in the alternative arrangements offered, you will not be offered a refund for services not utilised. In such situations we will assist where possible in arranging transport to the end point of the tour; however you will be asked to cover the costs of this transport. In general if you choose not to participate in a part of a tour itinerary, no refund will be offered for services not utilised.
All participants for Adventure Holidays should be of minimum 18 years. However, children between the age of 8 and 17 can participate in children’s / students  adventure camps and family adventures ( accompanied by parents or guardian )
On booking Adventure and Light Adventure Trips / Tours / Camps & Treks with Exotic Expeditions the
depositor/participant(s) acknowledges that he/she has (i) understands the hazards and dangers of an adventure based trip (ii) read and understands the above recited terms and conditions, and agrees to be bound by them and (iii) will not hold Exotic Expeditions its Owners, Agents, Associates, Guides and Employees responsible for injury, loss, or damage to person or property in connection with these trips.

9. GROUP LEADER
Most of our group trips and fixed departure trips are accompanied by a Trip Leader. It is necessary that you abide by the authority of the leader, who represents the company. If you commit any illegal act when on the holiday or if in the reasonable opinion of the leader your behaviour is causing or likely to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others we may terminate your travel arrangements without any liability on our part. If you are affected by any condition medical or otherwise, that might affect your or other people’s enjoyment of the holiday, you must advise us of this at the time of booking.

10. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
This section defines Exotic Expeditions responsibility with respect to all of our trips, including extensions and independent arrangements. Exotic Expeditions its Owners, Agents, Associates, Guides and Employees give notice that they assume no responsibility howsoever caused for injury, loss, or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from: weather problems, problems caused by nature, delays, expenses arising from strikes,  thefts, pilferage, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations, and discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel services over which it has no control. If situation arises changes in the itinerary will be made keeping in mind as making the least possible deviation from the original itinerary. Exotic Expeditions will not be held responsible, give refund, bear the cost or pay for inconveniences caused due to the above mentioned reasons or cost of preparation for trip (including airfare and any other expenses).

On booking the trip with Exotic Expeditions the depositor/ participant acknowledges that he/she has read and understands the above recited terms and conditions, and agrees to be bound by them.
